Casino Bonuses

All reputable online casinos offer a range of enticing deals to both attract you to their site and retain you as a valued customer.

Below are the two types of bonuses offered.

1. Sign-up Bonuses

These offers tend to reflect the value of your first deposit. They are expressed as a percentage of the figure you put in your new online casino account and are often referred to as ‘Match Bonuses’.

For example Casino-Lugano.com: If a site offers 100% sign-up bonus and you deposit $100 – they will give you an additional $100. Shop around because the welcome offers do vary from site to site, some sites offer up to 500% sign-ups. Larger bonuses tend not to get paid out as a lump sum but are split over a set period of time.

All of these offers have terms attached, including a specified ceiling amount relating to the offer. A sign up bonus with a cap of $100 will give you this amount even if you deposit a higher amount.

2. Reload Bonuses

These are also Match Bonuses and are triggered when you add further deposits to your account. On some sites they are effective for the first deposit of each month, on others they may be more regular.

3. No Deposit Bonuses

Exactly as the name suggests, these bonuses are essentially free bets. These tend to be around the $10 mark, but can be even greater.

4. Preferred Deposit Bonuses

These are attached to your using the casino’s preferred payment method. They are expressed as a percentage, for example 15%, but as with welcome bonuses they have a set ceiling amount they pay up to.

5. High Rollers

Big spenders attract some great bonus payments. Sums of $1000 and higher are not unheard of.

6. Loyalty Bonuses

Regular customers often get rewarded for their loyalty. These are triggered when you have been an active user of a casino for stated timescales and/or have risen up the seniority/VIP ranks available on the site.

Check the Small Print!

All online casinos state the terms and conditions attached to all of their offers.  Make sure you familiarize yourself with these. In particular ensure you understand the wagering requirements, which detail how much you need to bet before you are able to withdraw funds from your account. Take care to note that some games are ‘excluded’ and do not count in your total amount wagered.

There are some great deals available so just two main points of advice; shop around and read the small print.
